Friends Of Nether Hall Association

Netherhall Mead Academy has an association known as Friends of Netherhall Association (FONHA) which is our school’s charity organisation that raises funds for our pupils throughout the year. 

FONHA provides enrichment opportunities such as external visits, workshops, playground and multi-sensory equipment for the school. All of which enhances our pupil’s life experiences, their development socially and physically for the best quality of life. 

FONHA has evolved over the years and its newest priority is supporting our pupil’s wellbeing and mental health that reaches out not only to our pupils but to their families through providing accessible social events throughout the year. This allows our families to participate in activities together and takes away all the worries of transport, personal care facilities and social anxieties; bringing fun for all without any judgements. 

With the ongoing financial pressures for schools, the work FONHA do is important now more than ever. We are committed to providing our pupils and families with enriched life experiences. 

We want to continue this amazing work as well as plan new, exciting ideas but this is not possible without the fund raising events and generous donations.
